Many Globe Telecom subscribers in the Philippines are reporting sudden internet connection issues today. Affected users say their phones only show an EDGE signal instead of 4G or 5G, and mobile data is too slow or not working at all.

So far, Globe has not released an official statement on the outage. Reports from users suggest that some Globe customers still have normal internet access, which may mean this is a localized or partial service disruption.

- 9:15pm Some users reported getting back their internet connection
- 9:50pm Some users reported losing signal again
- 11:30pm Still no official updates from Globe and Gomo
- Aug 13 10am Many areas already have their connection back. Some still has no access.

- Aug 13 9:20pm Many areas across the country still has no connection
